Through December 24 - 43rd Annual Celebration of American Crafts. The Celebration of American Crafts is a national juried exhibition and sale of the best in contemporary fine crafts by more than 300 craftspeople from across the country. Proceeds from the sale provide major support for Creative Arts Workshop.
Open daily: Monday through Saturday, 11 to 6; Thursday, 11 to 8; Sunday 1 to 5; December 24 11 to 2.
November 13, 2 pm - A Conversation about Contemporary Craft with Chris Amundsen, Executive Director of the American Craft Council. Moderated by John S. Gordon, Benjamin Attmore Hewitt Assistant Curator of American Decorative Arts, Yale University Art Gallery.
November 17, 5 to 8 pm - Connecticut Artists Night Join us for a special reception to honor the Connecticut artists participating in this year's Celebration of American Crafts.
November 20, 1:30 to 5 pm - 15th Annual Bowl-A-Thon. Help the CAW Studio Potters stamp out hunger at the annual Bowl-A-Thon! Choose a beautiful, handmade bowl or mug, fill it with delicious soup donated by local restaurants and support the Community Soup Kitchen.
December 1, 6 pm - Craft Demonstration: Al Bell, Ceramics. Join us at 6 pm to learn more about how contemporary crafts are made! Organized in conjunction with the Celebration of American Crafts.
December 8, 6 pm - Craft Demonstration: Connie Pfeiffer, Jewelry. Join us at 6 pm to learn more about how contemporary crafts are made! Organized in conjunction with the Celebration of American Crafts.
December 15, 6 pm- Craft Demonstration: Jeannie Thomma, Feltmaking. Join us at 6 pm to learn more about how contemporary crafts are made! Organized in conjunction with the Celebration of American Crafts.

January 4 - 7 - Celebration of American Crafts SALE. Shop the Celebration Sale to save 25% on fine contemporary crafts from the Celebration of American Crafts. Come early for the best selection!

January 20 - February 10 - Department Show I. Our popular Department Shows return! See work by students and faculty displayed side by side, offering a whole new perspective on the process of learning and teaching at Creative Arts Workshop. The first Department Show features work from the Book Arts, Drawing and Painting, Jewelry, Pottery and Printmaking departments.
January 20, 5 to 7 pm - Opening Reception. Join us from 5 to 7 pm for the opening reception of the first Department Show.
February 9 - 14 - XOXO: A Valentine's Sale. Come for this very special sale of cards, boxes, pottery and small prints created by the Studio Binders, Studio Potters and Printmakers of Creative Arts Workshop - perfect for Valentine's Day!
Open daily from 11 am to 5 pm.
February 26 - March 16 - Department Show II. In the second Department Show, see work by students and faculty in the Design, Drawing and Painting, Fiber, Photography and Sculpture departments.
February 26, 2 to 5 pm - Opening Reception and CAW Open House. Join us from 2 to 5 pm for the opening reception of the second Department Show and our annual Open House. Tour the studios, meet the faculty, take part in demonstrations and more!
