Creative Arts Workshop is a non-profit community art center devoted to fostering creativity through participation in and appreciation of the visual arts. The Workshop is located in historic New Haven, Connecticut, in the city's Audubon Arts district. The facility holds a community art school with spacious, fully equipped studios and two exhibition spaces including the nationally recognized Hilles Gallery.

Call for Artists

Inventive Structures: Books Beyond the Codex

This national exhibition will be juried by Hedi Kyle, internationally recognized book artist and conservator, and will run May 14 – June 25, 2010. Two winners will be awarded a joint exhibition in 2011. Open to all non-codex book structures, including scrolls, accordions and alternatives. Submission deadline is February 19, 2010.
